The message unfortunately is not one I can identify with as I am white, grew up in a multi-cultured environment. So I never understood the divisions in man. (Until I moved from NY to NC *yak*)
As part of the military I see EO (equal opportunity) events for every observance possible. Black, Native American, Women etc....
But come to think of it...yup those events only for the alloted time like it's a damn block to check off...
I think as time goes on, and the older folk that run Congress, the media etc...die off, the younger generations will revamp the perspectives of the country.
Reminds me of my favorite quote that's at the bottom of my PM's here:
"I submit to you that if a man hasn't discovered something he will die for, he isn't fit to live. "
Martin Luther King Jr., Speech in Detroit, June 23, 1963

With the quote/statement "Black history should be celebrated all year, not just in February"(from the article) in the description, it would be easier to untherstand this picture, but then, it isn't really a mutch work to follow the link
Really a strong picture that shows very clearly what your point is.
Why is Februari so small? it's only three days shorter than any other month right?
well done
